PARENT & TOT

Parent & Tot was developed by experts to teach the fundamentals of skating in a fun & safe manner. Designed for young beginners, the focus is on fun, participation and basic skills development. Participants earn badges as skills are mastered. Skaters are taught in a group lesson format by an NCCP-Certified Professional Coach, assisted by trained Program Assis- tants (PA'S). Parent & Tot is the development program to all other Skate Canada skating programs.

Skate Yorkton offers a selection of high calibre learn-to-skate programs that provide a solid foundation in skating fundamen- tals to aspiring young hockey players, speed skaters and recreational skaters alike.

It is the Mission of our Club that these programs are offered in a positive and fun atmosphere that all can enjoy.

Ice Schedule Changes or Cancellations

As you may know, at certain times during the year, the Gallagher Centre Ice is utilized for various functions. At times, your sessions may be cancelled completely, while at other times, we will re-schedule the session as ice becomes available. Although we do our best to minimize any disruption to our Programs, there will be occasions during the year when the times and days change. A preliminary Ice Schedule for the Gallagher Centre is attached. Revised monthly schedules will be posted on the Skate Yorkton FaceBook page and also emailed out to each member.

* Should Skate Yorkton be required to shut down by Provincial Government due to Covid-19 registration fee’s will be pro-rated and refunded based on the unused scheduled classes remaining.
